LOAD-BEARING CAPACITY OF DAMAGED STONE STRUCTURES

نویسندگان

چکیده

The main factors affecting the load-bearing capacity of new and damaged stone structures are given. One most common types damage to buildings is their cracking. According statistics, frequent reasons for formation cracks in are: uneven settlement foundations, load on structures, temperature deformations, moisture deformations. walls depends compressive strength bricks mortar, but it difficult make correct assumptions about these values. goal work analysis current state affairs study technical condition cultural heritage objects, causes. In order improve methodology non-destructive research method, laboratory tests were conducted OSACEA laboratory. Based obtained experimental data, was proposed model pillars with similar actual experiment SP ANSYS software complex.

the effect of initial geometric imperfection on the load bearing capacity of double layer grid space structures

the existence of some geometrically imperfect members, like initial curvature in a double layer space structures with hundreds or thousands of members is almost inevitable. these imperfections give rise to loss of load bearing capacity of double layer space structures. to evaluate the effect of initial member imperfection on load bearing capacity of double layer space structures and their failu...

On optimizing crash energy and load-bearing capacity in cellular structures

The energy absorption and load-bearing capacity under axial compression of some model cellular structures are studied with an eye toward optimization based on structural mass or volume available for deformation. Three configurations are considered: multilayer, multi-cell and multi-tube, all of a rectangular-cell topology. Loading is applied either parallel or normal to the cell axis. The cell’s...

Chiral nematic self-assembly of minimally surface damaged chitin nanofibrils and its load bearing functions

Chitin is one of the most abundant biomaterials in nature, with 10(10) tons produced annually as hierarchically organized nanofibril fillers to reinforce the exoskeletons of arthropods. This green and cheap biomaterial has attracted great attention due to its potential application to reinforce biomedical materials. Despite that, its practical use is limited since the extraction of chitin nanofi...
